Big Dogs Need Big Love: Altered Tails offers FREE Spay & Neuter

Who doesn't love big dogs and would do anything for them? Unfortunately, big dog owners face some expensive challenges as big dogs eat more food, need more room to play, exercise and sleep; and we have to be much more vigilant about their health issues. But thanks to the kind generosity of The Altered Tails Barnhart Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona and Have A Great Spay, one of those challenges will be taken care of.

Altered Tails will provide free Spay/Neuter services to the first 30 companion dogs weighing 40 pounds or more to have a Spay/Neuter surgery completed in November. This offer is by appointment only. Appointments will fill quickly, so call now to make yours.

602-943-SPAY (7729)

While the service is free, the group will accept and appreciate contributions to help with this important work. The clinic is located at 950 W Hatcher Road.

Why Spay/Neuter?
Recent studies have shown that spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer in female, big dogs and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, especially when your female is spayed before her first heat. It also can prevent various reproductive tract disorders.

Neutering your male, big dog eliminates the risk of testicular cancer; decreases the incidence of benign prostate disease and
lessens his desire to roam and fight with other male dogs.

Spay/Neuter is also essential in the fight to end the epidemic of pet overpopulation, homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia. Millions of dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds are euthanized annually or suffer as strays. These high numbers are the result of unwanted, unplanned litters that could have been prevented by spaying or neutering.

Join us in thanking Have A Great Spay and Altered Tails for providing such great services to the BIG dog lovers of Phoenix!
