The Hotel Valley Ho is the epicenter of cool canine travel. Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, you’ll want to place this mid-century modern gem high on your list when setting your travel plans that include your four-legged family. Dogs are welcome at the fabulous property and the canine-friendly rooms open onto expansive and well-groomed lawns. Traveling with your canine companions can be difficult at times but the staff at the Hotel Valley Ho will set out to do everything they can to ensure the hotel becomes a home away from home for you and your furry family members while you’re away.

Just down the street from the hotel is Fashion by Robert Black. (A special thank you goes out to Robert for providing the wardrobe for our exciting shoot with Jordin Sparks at the hotel!) After finding his store and going through all of the wardobe . . . we couldn’t help but want to take the entire place with us when we left! We have a feeling that Scottsdale wouldn’t be the same without it, though. Robert and his partner Doreen have traveled the world to assemble what we found to be the most eclectic and unique set of vintage dresses around. We love the fashion, and we love Robert, too!

With your dogs in tow, you simply can’t miss Oh My Dog at 7137 E. Stetson Rd. Their pet concierge service, led by the charming Monica Bern, will service your every need while in town. You must stop in to the actual storefront to see some of the most exciting and innovative products we have seen in a local boutique. Be careful, though, your pets—and you!—will fall in love with Monica, owner Jackie Bacha, groomer Ivan Lugo and all of the staff at Oh My Dog.
