The Arizona Biltmore Hotel

Photos (c) Brett Chisholm and Ryan Rice

With the summer on the horizon, what better time to think about packing up the entire family (four-legged children included) and visiting the jewel of the desert, the Arizona Biltmore Hotel? This hot destination for the contemporary dog lover who travels with their canine family members is a sight to be seen. Designed in 1929 with Frank Lloyd Wright influenced architecture, the hotel is truly a masterpiece. Situated on 39 acres of lush, landscaped grounds, the Biltmore is the perfect haven for the discerning canine and discriminating dog-lover alike.  With room to roam and explore and a program designed to welcome your pup with open arms, the Biltmore should take the top spot on your go-to list for when you’re looking to vacation with your four-legged friend by your side.

Details:

Who Is Allowed: Companion animals up to 50 pounds.
Additional Fees: $100.00 deposit per animal is required upon check-in. $50.00 of each deposit is refundable upon inspection at checkout.
Where Can You Stay: Dogs are allowed in any of the resort cottages, situated around the illustrious grounds, with direct access to the lawns.
Amenities Provided: When you book your room, the Biltmore will ask you to fill out a complete profile of your companion, including allergies and dietary needs, favorite toys, and more. At check-in, you’ll receive a tasty treat and commemorative placemat and bowl in your room.
Our Favorite Extras: The Executive Chef at the Biltmore has prepared a special Pet Menu available through room service that includes a dish designed to help Fido adjust to jet lag and altitude, “Zen Yo”, a hearty vegetable stir-fry with poached eggs and steamed brown rice. There’s also Kojo’s Dirty Rice with Beef, Sylvester’s Seared Salmon, and more.

Insiders Tip: Throughout the summer months, the Arizona Biltmore presents its annual “Hollywood & Wine” festival series, a not-to-be-missed set of events.
