Recipe: Gluten-Free Cheese Cookies

These Crispy Cheese Cookies are a breeze to whip up in your kitchen and your pups will go crazy for them! They are very inexpensive to make and do not contain any wheat or corn, a common dog allergen found in many commercial treats. They are gluten free and a great natural and homemade alternative to store-bought treats. Remember to always source natural and organic ingredients whenever possible.

CrispyIngredientsPreheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly grease a large cookie sheet with unsalted butter and some rice flour.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. If needed, add a couple tablespoons of water. The dough should just come together and not crumble.

CrispyRolloutRoll the dough out on a floured surface; make sure the dough is of consistent thickness.

Using a knife or cookie cutter or sharp knife, cut dough into desired sizes and shapes. Place cookies on cookie sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Let cool for a couple of hours. Cookies will get harder the longer they cool. Store in an airtight container or in the freezer for up to two months.
