Raw Veggie Snacks for your Dog

Here are some healthy and popular raw veggies for your dogs. Raw vegetable snacks make incredible treat substitutions that retain the crunch that dogs love, while not being packed with extra calories.

Remember to thoroughly wash and rinse all fruits and vegetables that you give your dogs, even organically grown. Some produce may have been dyed, waxed or irradiated.

To serve raw veggies to you dog, cut them up into small servings. Most vegetables are not easily digested by dogs, but that’s not a bad thing. They’re easy on a pup’s system and offer low-calorie alternatives for your dog. To get the most benefit from the vitamins and minerals, add finely grated fresh vegetables on top of your dog’s current food.

BEETS Beets include Potassium, Vitamin A, Folate, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Vitamin C. Finely grated beets can be very popular, but don’t be alarmed when your dog has pink urine or poop.
