Designed in 1929 with Frank Lloyd Wright influenced architecture, the hotel is truly a masterpiece. When LIFE+DOG visited the hotel, the red carpet was rolled out for our dogs. Prior to any stay, the concierge of the hotel will ask you to fill out an entire form detailing all the preferences of your pampered pooch. From likes to dislikes, favorite toys, allergies and more, the staff at the Biltmore will be well-prepared to cater to whatever your dog desires. This resort is a destination that all members of the family will equally enjoy. When guests with canine companions check in to the hotel, your room is prepared for your dogs with water bowls, treats, placemats and a specialized menu from the chef. Guest can even order a la carte of off the menu for your dogs if you have a special request. All meals have been created just for dogs and you’ll have to see them to believe them.

The joys of a stay at the Biltmore do not stop with your room. The grounds of the resort are meticulously maintained and a haven for walks with your best friend by your side. Strolls through the property provide numerous opportunities to take in the architecture of the resort and there are many tucked away hideaways where you can take a break on a bench and enjoy the artwork that dots the landscape. Golfers will enjoy the Biltmore’s exclusive championship golf courses.

Who Is Allowed: Companion animals up to 50 pounds.

Additional Fees: $100.00 deposit per animal is required upon check-in. $50.00 of each deposit is refundable upon inspection at checkout.

Where Can You Stay: Dogs are allowed in any of the resort cottages, situated around the illustrious grounds, with direct access to the lawns.

Amenities Provided: When you book your room, the Biltmore will ask you to fill out a complete profile of your companion, including allergies and dietary needs, favorite toys, and more. At check-in, you’ll receive a tasty treat and commemorative placemat and bowl in your room.

Our Favorite Extras: The Executive Chef at the Biltmore has prepared a special Pet Menu available through room service that includes a dish designed to help Fido adjust to jet lag and altitude, “Zen Yo”, a hearty vegetable stir-fry with poached eggs and steamed brown rice. There’s also Kojo’s Dirty Rice with Beef, Sylvester’s Seared Salmon, and more.

Insiders Tip: Throughout the summer months, the Arizona Biltmore presents its annual “Hollywood & Wine” festival series, a not-to-be-missed set of events.

Cottage

Dogs are welcome to stay with guests in any of the numerous cottage rooms around the property. Cottage rooms are situated on the ground floor with direct access to the grass lawns and each unit has its own patio.
